Seated at our reception desk is Sue, our receptionist. She will greet you upon arrival for your appointment.  She will weigh your pet and escort you to an exam room.

This is one of our exam rooms in which you and your pet will be initially greeted by one of our veterinary assistants before being seen by Dr. Carlson.

Dr. Joanne L. Carlson and staff have the expertise and love of all animals that will make your pet comfortable and happy whether its just for a quick check up or a comprehensive medical examination. Our state of the art facilities include a radiograph suite for x-rays, surgical suite, laboratory for testing and dental apparatus. Internal medicine health is achieved by laboratory testing, fecal analysis, urinalysis and special testing for endocrine diseases, such as Diabetes and Cushing's Disease.

We also offer Cardiopet EKG testing which allows veterinary cardiologists to retrieve your pet's heart rhythm. Comprehensive physical examinations are recommended at least yearly with appropriate vaccinations for any diseases which your pet may be susceptible to. Senior Wellness Programs are designed to keep those pets over seven years happy and healthy into their golden years. We recommend exams twice yearly for the seniors and focus on special diets and dental care to promote overall longevity.
